Some aspects of my taste in art

In this entry, I want to share with you two aspects of my taste in art that I think could be revealing about me.

That is the Duchamp`s “Fountain” and it`s a piece of conceptual art. That piece is an old, white, made of glazed ceramic potty. Through the years have existed eight copies of that fountain because the original is extraviated and every new copy have been damaged in diferent artistic performances. I`m really into conceptual and postmodern art so i like so much this disruptive master piece and enjoy very much the artistic performances that generates. I choose the fountain because i`m not a big fan of religious, skill-based, academic art; i`m really keen on expressive, beyond the technique, disruptive, performatic art.

He is Roy Anderson, he is a brilliant swedish movie maker and he is eighty years old. As we can see he is chubby, a little bold, also he is caucasian, has a big nose and big ears. We can ́t see it but he is short. We can ́t see it neither but he is a very nice person and one of the things that i like the most of him is his sense of humor, that we can see in his movies. Going on with the things that make me keen on his work, i can mention that i`m a big fan of his directing style, because every scene in his movies are literal motion pictures, full of meanning and creativity.

Nevertheless i`m not a big fan of his first two movies, they are too conventional and boring, i feel really dissapointed watching these movies. I don ́t recomend them.
